Print Guide: Simulator Facilitator Session
Leading a Born Again 360™ Simulator
Session Title
Leading a Born Again 360™ Simulator
Recommended Time
30–45 minutes
Facilitator Goal
Examine a real-life response under Scripture — without shame, pressure, or false scoring
Core Scriptures
Galatians 6:1 KJV
"Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted."
Restoration is the goal — not condemnation, not exposure, not shame. Meekness and humility before God.
James 1:5 KJV
"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."
Every facilitator needs wisdom from God — not just knowledge of the platform.
Ephesians 4:15 KJV
"But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ."
Truth and love together — this is the posture of a faithful facilitator.
Before You Begin
Pray before the session — ask for wisdom, gentleness, and the Holy Spirit's guidance.
Choose a simulator appropriate for your group's age, context, and season.
Review the Sensitive Cautions section below before leading any session.
Identify the key Scripture in the simulator — be ready to read it slowly.
Decide in advance: will discussion be group-wide or private/journal only?
Confirm you have followed your church's safeguarding policy for this setting.
Simulator Flow
Open the simulator on a screen or device visible to the group (or read the scenario aloud).
Read the scenario slowly and clearly. Let the situation land before moving on.
Pause for inner reflection — ask: 'What is the first feeling that rises?'
Name the emotional surge together without judging it. Feelings are information, not sentences.
Identify the Old Man response — what does the flesh want to do?
Identify the False Religion response — what looks spiritual but avoids the real issue?
Read the Scripture Witness aloud. Give it weight. Let it speak.
Review the choices together. Discuss the feedback and fruit scores.
Use the Spiritual X-Ray Moment — examine what was happening beneath the surface.
Invite private written reflection — what did God reveal? What needs repentance or surrender?
Close with grace and prayer. Do not shame anyone for their honest response.
Facilitator Discussion Questions
What does the old man want to do in this pressure moment?
What did false religion suggest — what looks right but avoids real transformation?
What did the Word of God say that corrected both responses?
What fruit of the Spirit is most needed in this situation, according to Galatians 5?
What does it look like to trust God rather than take matters into your own hands here?
What is the difference between feeling bad about sin and genuinely repenting?
What does wisdom look like in this scenario — not just the 'spiritual' answer, but practical godly wisdom?
Where do you see yourself most honestly in this scenario?
What Scripture would you carry with you from today's simulator?
Is there something the Spirit is specifically calling you to surrender or address after today?
What would the born-again response look like in your actual life this week?
How does the grace of God speak into what this scenario reveals about all of us?
Sensitive Simulator Cautions
Review these before leading any sensitive simulator
Simulator 005 — Lust Response
Adults and mature teens only. Not appropriate for children. Create private reflection only. Watch for trauma responses. Follow safeguarding policies.
Simulator 007 — Secret Sin Response
Adults and mature teens only. Do not force disclosure. Point to 1 John 1:9 and private confession before God. Watch for shame spirals.
Simulator 008 — Quitting Response
The desire to quit may connect to real exhaustion, burnout, or unaddressed pain. Listen carefully before responding.
Simulator 009 — Forgiveness Request Response
Do not pressure unsafe reconciliation with an abusive or dangerous person. Forgiveness and safety are separate issues.
Simulator 001 — Hurt Response
May surface genuine pain, betrayal, or unresolved wounds. Do not press for public disclosure. Create space for private reflection.
What Not to Do
Do not require public confession of personal sins during group sessions.
Do not turn simulator choices into shame or evidence of spiritual failure.
Do not ask minors or vulnerable persons to disclose unsafe personal situations.
Do not force or pressure reconciliation with an abusive or dangerous person.
Do not minimize genuine harm, abuse, or trauma as 'just a flesh response.'
Do not treat simulator choices as proof or disproof of salvation.
Do not use simulator results to rank, judge, or compare participants.
Do not manufacture emotional responses or use pressure to intensify reactions.
Do not handle crisis disclosures alone — involve qualified pastoral and appropriate professional help.
Closing Facilitator Prayer
"Lord, I ask for Your wisdom, for I lack it on my own. Let me speak truth in love. Let me be gentle with those You have placed in my care. Let the Word of God do the work — not my cleverness or authority. Guard this space from shame, manipulation, and false assurance. If anyone is under conviction, let Your Spirit lead them gently to Jesus Christ. Help me to decrease, that He may increase. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."
Based on James 1:5 · Galatians 6:1 · Ephesians 4:15 · 2 Timothy 2:24-25 KJV
