Altar Call

This is not a ritual. This is a call to truth. Jesus said you must be born again — and He is able to save.

"Ye must be born again."

John 3:7 KJV

Why Jesus Said You Must Be Born Again

When Jesus spoke to Nicodemus in John 3, He was not offering a religious suggestion. He was declaring a divine requirement. No amount of moral effort, religious attendance, or human goodness can substitute for the supernatural work of God in the heart.

John 3:3 KJV

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

Sin and the Need for Salvation

Every person has sinned. Sin separates humanity from a holy God. No amount of self-improvement can bridge that gap. The soul needs more than religion — it needs redemption. That redemption is found only in Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ — Savior and Lord

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came into the world, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for the sins of humanity, and rose again on the third day. He is the only way to salvation.

Romans 10:9-10 KJV

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Repentance and Faith

Repentance means turning from sin to God — not merely feeling sorry, but changing direction. Faith means trusting in Jesus Christ alone for salvation — not in your works, not in your denomination, not in your own righteousness.

1 John 1:9 KJV

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

A Prayer of Surrender

This prayer does not save you — only God can save. But if the Spirit of God is drawing you, you may use these words as a starting point of honest surrender:

"Lord Jesus, I come to You as I am. I confess that I am a sinner in need of Your salvation. I believe that You died for my sins and rose again. I repent of my sin and turn to You. I ask You to forgive me, cleanse me, and make me new. I surrender my life to You. I want to be born again — not by my own effort, but by Your Spirit. Help me to walk in truth, in obedience, and in the new life You give. In Jesus' name, Amen."

2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
