Discipleship Path
Learning to Walk in New Life
"If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed."
John 8:31 KJV
About This Discipleship Guide
This discipleship path is a teaching guide only — not a measure of salvation, spiritual rank, holiness progress, or God's love for you.
It does not replace the local church, pastoral care, baptism, fellowship, or the work of the Holy Spirit in your life.
There are no scores. There are no badges. There are no certificates. Following Christ is not a point system.
Use this as a gentle aid — read the Word, pray honestly, and continue seeking Jesus Christ above all else.
What Is Discipleship?
Discipleship is not a program — it is following Jesus Christ. It involves reading His Word, learning to pray, repenting when convicted, walking in the Spirit, finding fellowship, and continuing in obedience day after day.
This path is for someone who wants to begin walking with God — not to earn salvation, but because they have met Christ and want to follow Him.
10 Foundations for Walking in New Life
Discipleship Is Following Jesus
"And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me."
Luke 9:23 KJV
Discipleship is not a course to complete or information to collect. It is a life to follow. Jesus calls every disciple to deny self — daily — take up the cross and follow Him. This is not a one-time decision preserved without cost. It is a daily direction of the will, surrendered to Christ.
The Altar Call PathwayContinue in the Word
"If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
John 8:31-32 KJV
Jesus defines discipleship by continuing in His Word — not visiting it occasionally, but abiding in it. The Word is your anchor, your mirror, your food, and your weapon. Begin with the Gospel of John. Read daily. Let it speak above opinions, feelings, and culture.
Start With JohnLearn to Pray Honestly
"Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us."
Psalm 62:8 KJV
Prayer is not a religious performance. It is honest communion with God. Psalm 62:8 gives permission to pour out the heart entirely — with all its weight, confusion, and need. Jesus taught His disciples a pattern for prayer in Matthew 6:9-13. Begin praying that way — adoration, confession, thanksgiving, asking, and surrender.
Prayer FoundationRepent Quickly and Keep Coming to Christ
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
1 John 1:9 KJV
You will fail in the Christian life. The issue is not whether you fall — it is whether you return. When the Spirit convicts, do not delay, hide, or rationalize. Come back quickly. Confession is met with faithful forgiveness and complete cleansing. God is not waiting to condemn you when you repent — He is faithful.
Conviction vs CondemnationFind Fellowship and Sound Teaching
"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."
Hebrews 10:25 KJV
The Christian life is not designed to be lived in isolation. God placed His people in a body. Find a Bible-believing church where the Word is preached faithfully, where you can be baptized, where you can receive pastoral care, accountability, and fellowship. Born Again 360™ does not replace the church — it is a discipleship aid, not a congregation.
Walk in the Spirit
"This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh."
Galatians 5:16 KJV
The born-again life is governed by the Holy Spirit. Walking in the Spirit means moment-by-moment dependence on God — yielding to His voice, obeying His conviction, bearing His fruit. The Fruit Response Map explores what Spirit-led living looks like in the heart and in practice.

"But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."
James 1:22 KJV
Hearing the Word without doing it is self-deception according to James. The simulators exist precisely for this — to take Scripture out of the abstract and place it against real-life moments: anger, hurt, temptation, guilt, pressure. Use them as discipleship mirrors.
Explore SimulatorsExpect Growth Over Time
"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."
Philippians 1:6 KJV
God is not done with you after one altar call response. The growth of the new life is gradual, uneven, and hidden at times — but real. Philippians 1:6 is a promise from God: He who began the work will perform it. You do not carry this alone. Review your growth reflections periodically.
Growth DashboardDo Not Hide When You Struggle
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
Romans 8:1 KJV
When you sin or fail, the enemy will tell you to hide from God. Do not. Romans 8:1 declares no condemnation for those in Christ who walk after the Spirit. 1 John 1:9 stands open always. The door of confession and cleansing is always available. Come back. Come quickly. God is faithful.
Conviction vs CondemnationKeep Looking Unto Jesus
"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."
Hebrews 12:2 KJV
Above all strategy, all routine, all resource — keep looking unto Jesus. He is the author and the finisher of faith. He endured the cross. He is seated at the right hand of God. He is your Savior, Lord, and the one in whom the entire Christian life finds its source and end. Not programs. Not platforms. Jesus.
